AMD Contract Services is proud to have achieved the prestigious standards of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 (Environment) and ISO45001: 2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management). The attainment of these awards, the subsequent 3rd party annual audits to maintain these awards, and also the continuous improvement of AMD Contract Services management systems, keeps the management team busy inspecting and auditing the various sites and departments to ensuring full compliance with all the aspects of safety, health, environment and the various quality issues in our hire business. The work required to achieve and comply with these standards demonstrates the leadership, commitment and initiative of the organisation to continue driving forward on HSEQ success.
FORS Accreditation
AMD Contract Services has also achieved a Bronze FORS Award. FORS is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection. FORS membership demonstrates AMD Contract Services’ commitment to managing its work related road risk (WRRR) and demonstrates our commitment to exceeding the industry standard

As a verified Gold member of Constructionline , AMD Contract Services Ltd. aligns to industry and government standards. This allows buyers to be confident that we provide a first class service with plant, works and vehicles to match their requirements.
As part of the Constructionline Gold Accreditation AMD has achieved the Acclaim SSIP award. SSIP assessments are all judged on the core criteria as approved by HSE and certify that AMD Contract Services is operating compliant with health and safety legislation.
Health And Safety Management System
AMD Contract Services has a very comprehensive health and safety management system which is accredited and is being applied by all employees from Managing Director to Apprentice. The success of this system is visible in the diminishing accident record and increased health and safety communications by Managers and Supervisors to their respective employees. Employees are actively encouraged to participate in the system through comment and observation reporting.
Site specific risk assessment and method statements are checked and updated as required prior to issue for all works; in addition, generic risk assessments for standardised activities are also used and are subject to annual review. Where required construction phase plans, quality plans and environmental plans can also be supplied thus ensuring that our clients and customers can be assured that all legal compliances are being met regardless of the size of the works.
Health And Safety Training
Health and safety training is another valuable attribute to our safety management system; all our management team are completing relevant training for their trade. Employees attend various training packages related to their work task skill throughout the year, these include Construction Skills CPCS & CSCS, Streetworks, MPQC, SVQ’s and various other training courses including First Aid F+.
Our continued commitment to H&S training for our staff not only ensures that we meet our own internal H&S standards, but also demonstrates to our clients the high standards that we have set to ensuring that the workplace is both safe and healthy for all of our staff, customers and visitors.
